Our student branch established an active IEEE Computer Society chapter in 2023. This chapter serves as a platform for students passionate about computer science and technology, offering various activities and resources. Through workshops, seminars, and networking events, the CS chapter provides opportunities for students to expand their knowledge and skills in the field. It also promotes collaboration and innovation among members, fostering a supportive community for all those interested in computing.
In 2024, our student branch launched an active IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) chapter to support students interested in signal processing and its applications. This chapter serves as a hub for learning and professional growth, offering a range of activities such as workshops, seminars, and networking events. By fostering collaboration and innovation, the SPS chapter helps members enhance their skills, exchange ideas, and engage with the broader signal processing community.
IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering and science. The WIE affinity group in our SB have been active from 2020 and plays a major role in promoting and equipping women in our SB to showcase themselves in the field of Engineering and Technology.
IEEE SIGHT is a global network of groups consisting of IEEE members and volunteers who identify and address local problems by applying their technical skills and partnering with their local communities. A SIGHT group is newly formed this year in our Student Branch for initiating it's activities in our campus and the surroundings.
